Parallel Faces is a video which assembles faces from Russian/European propaganda films of the 1930’s. The faces and the gaze are representing the peoples/ the crowds emotional, ideological and political engagement of the theme and vision of the film, mostly industrial developments. These types of portraits are typical for propaganda films and are often represented by common people, extras, non-professional actors and workers.
